High rise apartment in surface paradise. Remove pot plant stains from the balcony. Ceramic tiles. The owner couldn't get them cleaned, so she gave us a call.
The granite in 4 elevators needed refurbishing. Firstly, pulled up the carpet, then chemically strip glued, then grind and polished it.
Frank did a job about 4 years ago for a high rise office building in Brisbane. They did renovations in the lobby and they had to replace about 50 bluestone tiles that were damaged. They couldn't find the blue stone with the same finish on them anywhere. So Frank grinded the tiles and polished them to the same finish as the old ones. You can't see the difference between the old and the new tiles.
We did a sample limestone floor clean for the manager and then was asked to come back and clean the rest of the limestone floors.
When water gets under the stone and starts to evaporate it leaves what is called efflorescence behind (the white stains and dark stains) which grows every time it gets wet. It is hard to remove.
A high-rise office building in Brisbane stuck stickers on its blue stone walls and when they removed them the stickers had stained the stone. They called in the cleaners but they could not fix it and made things worse. Frank had to grind and polish to match the other tiles.
